Our Data Targets Kickstarter campaign is well underway! The funding target was hit within a few hours of launch, and backers continue to trickle in. We look forward to producing many sets of these 3D printed wargaming objectives! Those with their own 3D printer may get the STLs for these great pieces via DriveThruRPG.
Our Arc Guides Kickstarter campaign successfully funded! 77 backers signed on to get resin cast copies of these simple tools for painting arcs on the bases of wargaming miniatures. STL files are also available as free downloads from Thingiverse.
After using and refining the mechanics and missions over a number of events, we are very excited to release Legacies, an unofficial skirmish campaign for Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000!
Legacies builds on our Recon Squad rules for fast-playing, tactical 40k skirmishing. Players choose a particular specialty for their squad and work toward a relevant personal objective over the course of four thematic missions. They then all meet in the Cataclysm, a climactic team battle wrapping up the campaign.

As part of its new, energized release schedule of late, this past weekend Games Workshop put out a new boardgame: Deathwatch Overkill. The box is filled with amazing miniatures and what seem to be a fast-playing, fun and quick set of rules. What it doesn’t include are boxes to organize and protect the two card decks inside the main box. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered. Follow the link for PDF patterns to print, cut out, and assemble tuckboxes for both.

We’re proud to officially release our unofficial skirmish variant for Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000: Recon Squad!
Recon Squad is a simple ruleset for fast, very tactical games using all the standard 40k mechanics and armies but with individual models fighting it out as solitary heroes in elaborate battlefields. A lengthy discussion on the design considerations is up on tjkopena’s blog, and the full rules are a short PDF available on the website.

An article has been added with a simple tutorial on organizing your paintbox using no-cast materials and a little hobbying: DIY Paintbox Organizer. No frills and very basic, but the article has some potentially useful construction and organizational tips for newcomers, and the price is right!
Organization is a virtue!
In the run-up to the 2015 PAGE Apocalypse, we have a new article up on planning such events: 40k Apocalypse Table & Venue Sizing. It presents some rough guidelines on how big tables should be, and a few pointers on the additional venue space required. We hope to have a series of such articles up over the coming months as we work toward that mega-battle. For the emperor!
You’re gonna need a bigger table…
